Tunnel of Oppression
I’m working on a project for Wright State University called the “Tunnel of Oppression”. It is a psychological exhibit put on to raise awareness of things like racism, sexism, ageism, etc.
Wright State wants to put the exhibit online, so I am working to do that with an online 3D world that users can walk around in to different rooms. Each room will have pictures, audio clips, video clips and other information. Eventually they want to integrate it into coursework with usernames for each student and online discussion, blog posts, etc.
It is a pretty ambitious project, and we have a semi-working demo online that you can try (Windows users only for now).
You can go down the elevator and navigate the rooms to the right. w=forward,a=left,s=backward,d=right and the mouse looks around. ESC exits the program.
There isn’t really alot to see yet, but it is still pretty cool!
